Herald Dart cockpit view

Sorry if this has been answered before - I searched this board, and I read the manual - honest, I did :)

First, the HP Herald Dart is a great plane to fly with a superb panel. I added a dual INS system.

I have just one small complaint - the forward cockpit view. This view is set very close to the centre of the main panel so that the central wind-shield pillar lines up directly with the runway centre on finals. Further out on a straight in approach, because of fore-shortening, the wind-shield pillar obscures the runway completely.

In reality for the PIC the viewing point should be more to the left of centre. Is there any way to adjust this?

Thanks!

John

The Herald, like the Viscount, didn't have a centre pillar bit a widow across the centre

This tended to put a pillar in front of the pilots view.

In real life they craned their necks slightly to see around it so no problem with the real aircraft.
