Hi Gents,
Just thought i would show a couple of shots of my trip to Brunters on Sunday, although the pics are not brilliant i'm afraid there were a lot of people around the Q Sheds to get some good shots,
to right!!! i still can't believe i sat in the cockpit of a Lightning that is still capable of Flight!! i spoke to a member of the Lightning Preservation Group and he said " pop up and sit in" Just pop up! i could not resist that,
While there i also sat in the Victor flight deck , how they flew them i now have some idea! i had my photo taken in the Captains seat but i thought you would not want to see me!!
Flying Alphasim models of these aircraft are great but to sit in that Lightning F6 was something else,
So,

Farthest is XS904

This was the other main reason for my visit, Fantastic!
Thanks for looking,
Roger.
