I've mentioned in passing several times, how my machine just shuts down, sometimes restarting itself, sometimes telling me that the boot disk failed.....blah blah...
Well, Serif offered a half price d/l, making it AU$20. I had previously used a similar Auslogics tool to do the same job.
This is day two after it told me that it had fixed a ton of problems, including that something like 27% of my RAM was not functioning (??)
Since running the suggested fixes, it hasn't crashed yet. I'm no techie, so this could potentially save me some dosh.

That is, until I got an HP Laserjet printer and the Serif software couldn't print to it. I called the helpline and the chap was quite helpful. They had a fix which I could download.. only thing was, I didn't have the internet then
