Classic British Flight Sim

Where has the Alphasim/Virtavia Lightning gone I really want to get it but cant find it anywhere.

Have a look on either www.justflight.com or www.fspilotshop.com where you'll find it currently on sale (that is, in a sale)

Why don't you just go along to the Virtavia freeware download page:

3 Lightning Packs available - they are FS8 and CFS2 - but I think that is the same one in FS9.

If not, you've pretty much had it, as they are no longer available in stores.

If it is for FS8 it wont work in FS9.

It should work in FS9 to some degree or other. Some of Ricks models are FS8 era and work ok. admittedly some won't though. I seem to recall an issue with landing gear on some models.
