Just spotted a short BBC video titled "Yvonne Pope Sintes: Britain's first female airline pilot"

I was on a Flybe ERJ-175 recently were the two flight deck crew were women and the two cabin attendants, men.

there was a woman flying Skways 748's in the sixties and they used to sa she was the first woman airline pilot, or perhaps she was the first captain?

She had a name that sounded East European
