They might be lawyers, but either they can't spell, or they can't count!
There is more than one letter difference between the quoted words:
"The FRAPPICINO mark only differs from Starbucks Coffee Co.'s FRAPPUCCINO mark by one letter," the letter said, "and is phonetically identical."
But what would I know?
Perhaps the "mistake was made by a reporter"

never drink the crap myself. won't give that , that, "S" word business my money for that mud.
Anyway, I liked the way the pub owner dealt with them.

I have only been in a Starbucks once (it was actually inside a Canadian book store where you can drink coffee while perusing the books) but when I ordered a black coffee with no sugar they looked at me as if I was from another planet!
They can keep all their fancy stuff as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't know what a Frappuccino was if I fell over it. The coffee they did serve was barely drinkable as it was!

I have never set foot in a Starbucks, and don't intend to...why the hell should I be required to learn all their trendy jargon, just to purchase the cup of coffee I want?
Back in my management days, we used to call that "wrong focus"...

Their coffee always tastes burnt to me. Fortunately we have Tim Horton's here.

I've never been in or risked tasting any. I think I saw one of their shops once back in the big smoke.
I grind an eggcupfull of Lavazza beans to make 2 cups for Mrs Airspeed & myself. Occasionally, we get a "fair trade" Kg. Any of the drinkable stuff is around $35-$40 Kg. How does that compare?
When I grow young, rich and beautiful, I'm going to get a home espresso machine.

One of my favourite things is watching Americans experience Tim Hortons for the first time as they order their frappa-Wappa-not fat skinny-tall chai latte's...
Only to be confronted by a smiling Canadian saying, two choices.... Coffee.. Black or White! Lol
Oh and for $4 less.
