Was the filmer zooming out or walking backwards briskly?

I think that is where our BC Ferries crews go for training. *-) They are forever bumping into things.

I should like to know where it was - presumably it was just driven ashore for scrapping , thus India/Bangladesh is a possibility ?

Hi Folks

Supposedly Leyal Ship Recycling, Aliaga, Turkey.

Pity Invincible & Ark Royal had their propulsion plant removed first,
I'm sure their G/Ts would have gotten them much further up the beach/slip. :hide:

I know ships are only Metal etc but it's a sad sight seeing them going for scrap,

That looked very much like one of the ferries i spent many years on when i was Trucking to Europe from the UK, unfortunately i have not been able to find out with my searching of photo's from that scrap yard in Turkey.

Cheers,

Roger.
