You can use ADE or write some simple xml code.TSR2 wrote:Hi Chaps,
I think I may have missed something in MCX, but is there a way to add multiple scenery objects to a single BGL without using Instant scenery?

Hi George,
I've been exporting each model from MCX as a scenery BGL file. I've then been putting these individual BGL files into the EGVW scenery folder (and associated textures in the EGVW texture folder.) Then I'd been going into ADE and adding the individual BGL's to the Library Object List, using the library Object manager and placing the objects using ADE. I have ADE set up such that it creates a separate BGL for placed objects on compilation, but this just seems to contain the position information for the objects, rather than the objects themselves.

Just a quick word of thanks to George and Ted Andrews.
George has done it again and produced a brilliant blended flatten so that the airfield is no longer sunken or on a plateau. Thanks very much indeed George.
Also, Ted Andrews has given permission to include his excellent T2 hangers in the package when it is released. Thanks again Ted.
Right, next is the ILS Localiser while I'm waiting for some more information which should be with me towards the end of June.

I don't know Dave, very unusual considering the location. Well kept though. There was a chair just behind me, at first I thought it had been dumped, old plastic school chair with metal legs, but it had been turned upside down to keep it dry, and the name Ron had been written on it. It would be interesting to find out the significance.
The other thing was the Satelite 'base' seemed to still be in use. I think this was the guys (RN?) who moved from Pershore in the late 70's. I don't think the dishes are used for MOD purposes, but the do appear to be in use.

Poor Maureen.
Not a bad innings, I suppose, but obviously sincerely missed.
