I love the old Dak Roger. In fact if I were to ever have a HUGE lottery win,I would buy one along with a Routemaster and AEC RTL bus.Trouble is,where would I keep them? Not sure what SWMBO would say though *-) EricT

Hi Eric,

Yes, man after my own heart,

You would have to be careful, look what happened to J Clarkson and his EE Lightning!!!!

Cheers,

Roger.

One thing I did as an ATC Flight Sergeant was to fly in an RAF Dakota in the Berlin Airlift...I was listed as an Air Quartermaster, but my duties were to make the crew coffee. We flew into Gatow and then I had 4 days off, on my own, in Berlin...I had to wear uniform and all travel on trams, busses and trains was free. Sadly, I have lost my ATC Record of Service book, so I can't look up its registration...I would have liked to have traced its history. :)
