Thanks for that Joe

Wow!! the pilot used his 'Jump jets'

What an amazing aeroplane...it can take off and land vertically...I'm sure we could use something as useful as this :) *-) :wall:

Hi Joe,

Well what an amazing piece of film, it goes to show that all that practice landing pays off!

I did'nt know about that Stool so that's something i have learnt!, shows what a great aircraft that Harrier is as you could not land any other aircraft on a carrier minus it's nose wheel without a problem.

Thanks for the link,

Roger.

Probably around a million bucks for a stool. We Brits would've just used a sandbag. £0-75p from army and navy stores.

Well done the pilot but "... $30million piece of military hardware would smash into the deck of the ship" a bit of an exaggeration.
