Good evening one And All...

Long time no speak.....

A long while ago I decided to step away from Flight Simming to concentrate on my Aviation Career, it all paid off after a lot of shuffling about at RAF Valley, moving out from the engine bay and back onto 19sqn then back onto 208sqn, after 15 years, I left RAF Valley and I eventually ended up working at the Rolls-Royce PTF Plant in Derby on the Trent 700 Engine. I've since moved on to work in the Wind industry, and recently I've been working for a Wind Farm Asset Management Company, there's been a lot of change in my life over the past few years.... lol

After a long time away from all things Flight simulator and PC related I've decided to return to do the occasional spot of flight simming, and where better to return to the fray than these Forums!!

I just wanted to say Hello and Thank everyone for the Birthday wishes for the past few years that I didn't respond to :$

Off I go to do some serious catching up on the years that I've lost out on...

Just redirect the wind turbine Dyl - that should do it. Good industry to get into just now - expanding at quite a rate of nots.

Welcome back. As for flight simming FSX is still with us, very much unchanged, MS Flight has been and gone, X-Plane is now on version 10 and the new kid on the block is Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D or P3D, however you want to name it. Currently at 2.2 but imminently at 2.3. Based on MSs ESP platform - very good it is too but I believe most folks here are still on FSX with some still on FS9 (you can't hurry a good sim). Aircraft and scenery in particular have come on in leaps and bounds with some very good stuff out there. Not forgetting the superb freeware here of course.

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris, that has filled in the Gap to a tee.....lol!

Personally, I'll be re-installing Good Old FS9, as I have a vast amount of add ons for it and it was what I had when I called it a day :)

I need to re-invest in another X52, the one I had was absolutely fantastic!

Thanks for the info on whats hot and what's not mate
