The hope that the morrow will be a brighter day will not be known to him.

life can be brutal cold and dark. it has it's moments that's for sure. But the opportunities of smelling a rose or watching a child play , or the touch from a loved one upon one's cheek can be as beams of sunlight scattering the darkness , and warm the soul are gone forever.

Keep on Keeping on.... I pray those who suffer the demons of depression and hopelessness set their minds on a simple example of kindness shown . and forgiveness and forbearance towards those who take pleasure hurting others. who scorn the beauty around them. For it is them who are without hope, and beauty.

I was listening to Radio2 on the way to a meeting this morning and one of the presenters commented that the people who make us laugh are often the ones hurting the most. This would appear to be the case here.
A sad business. Can't say he was ever my favourite actor but whatever he did, it was obvious his heart and soul went into it.

He never really gelled with me either but he was a great favourite of most people I know. No doubt he is one of the all time greats.

As for depressed comidiens..Spike Milligan and Tony Hancock are just two famous cases who spring to mind
