CH Pro Pedal fix

Hi there fellow simmers,
I had the rudder bar potentiometer fail on me sometime ago, just plain worn out after years of use and abuse. Too expensive to return to CH for a repair jobby so decided to look for a new pot, the original being HP-100A. To my consternation I found that CH no longer sell spare parts to the public. I found a site that looked like an official CH spares site but found it was run from China somewhere the only links to them being a pop-up with Email addresses. All other lnks on the site take you back to the official CH site, needless to say I did not purchace from here too suspect for my liking.
However after much ressearch I have found a potentiometer that will do the job. I have fitted it fits exactly being the same physical size as the original pot. The only difference being the connector tags are bent right angles, these can be straightened quite easily with you fingers. The pots come as a repair kit for the Momo Force controller supplied by Digi-Key (In the US there is a British based web site as well) part no.963260-KIT-ND manufacturers p/n 963260-KIT. Cost to me in the UK £11.57+VAT+£12.00 postage. In the kit are two 10K potentiometers the same physical size as the original HP100A and there is a small 10k pot that can be used for something, but for me its a throw away. Just so glad to have my pedals up and working again.

Thanks for sharing that LM ;)
I'll make a note of your find. It may come in handy for my set of the same. Do you have a stick or yoke to go with those pedals? :fly:

Answer to your question do I have a Flight controler either a Yoke or Flight stick, I have a Ch yoke. Any way glad the gen is of use. Delivery was made by UPS and was within about 4 days from the States, not too shabby I thought.
