I dunno about 'that long' mate.. it'd obviously not been used for donkeys when that shot was taken in 1970! Is that a Provost alongside? I bet that met the scrapmans blade too!

You would be surprised at how long things lasted at Farnbough! One only has to look at the age & number of types that they kept flying!

What I mean Dave was it was still there...I thought it had been broken up in the 1950's

That was probably the plan mate but it seems it was left to rot while they got on with other things
