Velocity Elite Rg In-Flight Video and Pictures

Hi All,
Saturday, a friend of mine took me up in his Velocity Elite. He gave me command of the plane for awhile and I must say it was a dream to fly. Different in may ways than any other aircraft I've flown by far. It takes very little input to chance course or altitude.
The Panel layout is Fabulous!. (Mike is a retired Sony engineer) Very easy to cop a look at the systems and attitude of the plane. I performed the turn back at a nice slow rate. After completing it, Mike said I could have pulled the turn at 5 g's if I wanted, No Problem.
( I wouldn't have wanted to I thought to myself
)
We cruised out to Pahokee (KPHK) and back at 160+ kts with power at 65% (how does that grab ya Mac?)
It was a little bumpy with the cold front coming in over us, but she handled it no problem. Enough though that once back on ground I felt I was still in flight...
I love that feeling.
Sorry for the shaky video. If it bothers you . pop a Dramamine
The file is huge and in HD -so watching on a mobile device with limited bandwidth is at your own risk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GX05Hcm ... 54By00mM7g
Love the Gull wing doors

The design affords an excellent view of sky and terrain. Just off center (to left) is the threshold for runway 34 at Wellington Aero Club (Private FD38)

The canard

This is one very cool looking panel.

EDIT
From another day a few years back ( when I dint get to go cause I was too fat back then..
)

Cheers,
Joe
