Well i used to prefer waves like them rather than a big swell, trouble with trying to get into Dover after a rough crossing was the "hole in the wall could look a bit small" and i don't know why but it always seemed that we had it rough on Friday Nights.

There was a chop on the water similar to that during my last cod fishing trip in Oct, but when the sausages rolled out of the pan I decided enough was enough and headed back to port!!.

They had gusts up to 180mph on St. Kilda leading to it being evacuated for the first time since 1955 when it was re-inhabitated. Three of the radar blisters were blown away. This followed on from the gusts of 144 mph recorded in Decembers storms.
