Wow, sad to hear that. Quite a historic site there to be lost. I have faith that GE will be quick to rebuild the facility and hopefully give temporary reassignments to as many as they can while the factory is rebuilt if not being assigned to help rebuild and re-equip the new facility. GE has shown in the past a keen awareness of history, so fingers crossed the new building will externally be identical to the original but have updated internals to give the workers the most state-of-the art tools and facility to work at.

Glad nobody was hurt. I'm sure they'll be back in business pretty pronto - they're a doughty bunch.
