A really nice collection he has there. In the 1961 pics I noticed a Dove with the reg G-ARDE; I think we have that one (wearing a different paint scheme though) in FS2004/FSX. Thanks for the link Garry.

Yeah.. lovely phots. A pity the Ind Coope ARDE was never done. I'd have had that as my personal transport

After reading your post Dave I actually googled "Ind Coope Airlines" to hopefully find some color photos of their aircraft.

Ah deary me It's a nice thought though. I reckon Tetley Airlines would have been similar to that Hale and Pace sketch filmed on the Brit at Duxford Ind Coope had a Rapide once too and I was never able to track down a colour phot. It was replaced by the Dove

Not a very inspiring paint scheme, and a very sad life story....incinerated at Darwin. Think of all the beer cans they could have made from it!

Agree.. the ARDE scheme is much more interesting. Ending up on the fire dump is a bit cruel. I'd have thought the metal alone was worth more than that
