Always had a soft spot for the DC3 Peter, second aircraft I ever flew in from RAF Yeadon as was.

My memories of the Dak are confined to flying as an "Assistant Quartermaster" in a Berlin Airlift flight...I was an ATC cadet.

Lovely aeroplanes - Working hard on the rudder there on landing, particularly the second one !

But I was interested to see quite sharp ground turns without rudder - must have been all engine and brake differential.
