She wasn't an aeroplane, but certainly an aviation connection.

There's also Kelly Johnson who designed, or helped design, the P-38, F-104, U-2 and SR-71 amongst many other types.

Dave , thanks , older 'n greyer . Works been busy since last summer , so not here so often . It's starting to blow an hooly , so we've canx today ! Hence I've time for a cooked brekky and CBFS ..... just burned the scrambled eggs tho' !
