For my part.. the eclipse was pretty uneventful. I didn't have the benefit of any 'anti-blindness' viewing equipment and what little remained was far too bright to look at with naked peepers! Here.. it looked like a bright sun with a slightly dimmer than normal day.

Well no!...My wonderful watch doesn't take pictures, Mike
Dave, I wasn't too fussed about the Eclipse but I was very pleased to get the ones of the very young New Moon with the Earthlight. A picture this evening or tomorrow evening with Venus close by will be nice to get

Very interesting that both photos of Venus show the phase. Also, the penumbra of the new moon is fantastic . Great pics Peter and Airboatr, thank you
I tried to photo the eclipse , but I didn't stop it down enough and got a very bright blur, even using my welding helmet !
