Boeing C-97 Stratotanker - FSX
Hi Chaps
Newly released over at Simouthouse is the public beta of Manfred Jahn's Boeing C-97 Stratotanker for FSX..
Note: The model is far from finished (says Manfred) so what you get with this release will only get better. Hard to believe!!

I remember somebody posted instructions for fix to malfunctioning altimeter here. The post is gone. Is it my imagination or was the post on other aviation forums, not this forum? Got to look for that via Google but Google is not being helpful.

It all depends on what's not working. With Manfred's C-97.. this is a public beta so everything that doesn't currently work will be fixed IDC. You can still see what Alt you're at by either using shift+z or shift+4 for the overhead

...or substitute the altimeter with a similar FSX altimeter. There's only one entry in the panel.cfg which needs changing.

One could do that yes but it's a beta so why go fiddling when the team will sort it. It's not like you have no idea what altitude you're at
