Tom Allensworth RIP

Post by Kevin Farnell »

I've not seen this reported here, but think it more than worthy of note.

Tom Allensworth, founder and CEO of Avsim sadly passed away on 4 April 2015 at the relatively young age of 64.
I doubt there is anyone here who hasn't downloaded freeware from Avsim, and know there are many who have uploaded their many hours of hard work to the site for free distribution to the flightsim community.
Tom was one of the few people to make this possible.
I hope you will join me in raising a glass in memory of Tom Allensworth and the great contribution he made to our community. I would also like to pass on our sincere regards to his family and friends.

Tom Allensworth RIP

You will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Regards

Kevin

Sad indeed.
My automatic sign in failed, and because my email has changed, I was unable to go further.
I send condolences from here instead.

RIP Tom and condolences to family ,

Yes Avsim was the first place i went to when i started flight simming many years ago and still regard it as one of the best sites.
