Truth in adverlying?

Something made me remember this news item from last year, and I thought I'd share it.
Given Nestles' uncontrollable efforts to push their sugar into every corner of the World, their words were as empty as the missing half of the Killer Pythons.

I presume the price is still the same though?

Help! We are apparently being sucked dry by those evil Nestle types.... The new bad boys of the corporate world.

OK, cut them in half, keep the same price but package them as a pair = two halves. Ah! not sure if these are Ice lollies as we don't have them in these Colonies. If so, that may lead to a melty mess but it is the middle of winter down there in Oz.

Read that with great interest Alex.
I think that CEO was quoted recently in a documentary over here; he seems to have been the sole source of such a ludricous statement.
The price they are paying is criminal...more evidence that the people we vote into power do not act in our interests.
What next, pay - as - you - go air supply?

Unfortunately, I can't answer regarding prices, as my leaning was towards Monty Python, not Killer Pythons.
I can say though Nigel, that they are not frozen, they're larger versions of Snakes, pliable chewy lollies/sweets/candies, depending on your part of the world.
Snakes are about 100mm long, compared to about 500mm, plus extra girth, for the KP
If you don't have Snakes in your country, you should organise a protest rally on behalf of the under-priveledged kids.
They were made by a local company, Allens, but big N took them over.
