From Scotland, no less.

Spotted this today while doing a bit of virtual railroading from Carlisle to Stranraer. Is this a correct spelling of the word whisky/whiskey?

Just imagine Billy Connolly saying whisky........
(I think with an 'e' in it is Irish & possibly American whisky?)

I think its a play on words - that you are
wishing for a whisky.
Yep, its whisky if distilled in Scotland, and whiskey if its distilled in Ireland.

If from Japan, its rhisky.
