Classic British Flight Sim

Just noticed this one.Prog about the loss of BEA548 in June 1972.IIRC this was a Trident in which case it may be of particular interest to Peter.I'm not sure if this a repeat but I can't recall seeing this previously. EricT

Peter I think does not like this subject, and I think he knew some of the personalities involved. It has been on before. Quite what more can be said about this tragedy given the thoroughness of the Geoffrey Lane ( a former pilot, holder of the Air Force Cross, and later Lord Chief Justice ) report I don't know, but no doubt TV will be able to senationalise it

Yes you are right Chris...I will not be watching that as these sort of programs seem to get worse as time from the event increases. I don't know why these presenters think they can change history!

Chris and Peter are correct in saying that this was a repeat,although the publicity seemed to imply that it was new programme.
I have tried two or three times to pm Peter to apologise for the fact that I had forgotted about his acquaintance with some of the people involved and to say that I hoped I hadn't caused him any distress.I'm not convinced that the pms were sent because I received messages from Safari saying that the server wasn't responding.Hence my message here.EricT
