National Memorial Arboretum

Decided that the car needed a run yesterday, so at SWMBO's 'suggestion' we headed West(ish) to the National Memorial Arboretum near Alrewas, Staffs. This is a 150 acre tree planted site of memorials to the fallen of the last 100 years or so. It's not a cemetary but has over 300 dedicated memorials. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

It's smashing isn't it Dave :thumbsup: You really need a FULL day to see everything.. better still 2. Well worth a visit :thumbsup:

Yes Dave - much more interesting than I thought. We only managed about half of it before I was done for.

That's the problem mate.. it's grown to such a size, you need to be super-human to get round it all. It's getting bigger all the time too :-O

Good to see atristic effort put into such a warthy memorial.
