Microsoft Flight Simulator: 24 Years in One Picture

Post by fs10inator »

I'm not sure which forum is appropriate for this picture, so I'll just leave it here to start with.

This is 24 years of Microsoft Flight Simulator in one picture!
Each slice is one version, and there are 12 slices here.
P3D and subLOGIC games excluded.

Cool pic!

Yes, I came into FS with FS95 ... I recall with enthusiasm when rotating wheels were the hot item, 32-sided fuselages were innovative, and jet engines with spinning fan blades was a novelty.

Then came opening doors, lights ... pilots ... crazy to think how far it's come.

Jumped on the MSFS bandwagon back in the FS4 days. Back then I'd download repaints and such from BBS'.

All using my 2400 baud modem.  This little "tune" should bring back a few memories for some of us. :agree:

I actually had that Supra 2400 baud modem before it was replaced with a Hayes at the giddy speed of 14400 baud.
