It would have been so much easier to understand what in tarnation they was saying if they'd had used English subtitles!

It's horses for courses Chris. I was a HUGE fan of Monty Python back in the day but I don't find their stuff so endearing these days. If you've never liked Milligan.. then I'm flogging a dead horse but taken in context, I was happy to drift back for a short while. I much preferred his books which, although not read for many years, sit on my bookshelf and I can still look at the sleeves and smile

In its day, that was funny.
Remember, Chris, Irish jokes are still around today, and if they weren't offensive, they wouldn't be funny.
For some reason, Irish jokes seem to be exempt from the racist tag. Why?
Somebody has to be the butt of most jokes, we laugh even if they're a bit naughty.
You can laugh at me if you like, still, I'm not that funny.
