DM Trident in FSX
I flew this aircraft with some success in FS9, but as my PC has progressed to FSX I decided to install it and give it a go.
I have three problems:-
1) Where is the Pitot Heat switch?
2) I can't raise or lower the gear
3) I can't raise or lower the flaps.
Any ideas?

Old pilots never die, they just run out of runway.

Ady,
Can't think re 1 off the top of my head, but gear and flaps work fine for me in FSX using the default keystrokes.
*edit* pitot is on the overhead at the left http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/html/Tride ... al_OHP.htm

Yep, found the pitot heat, but it is as if I have got no hydraulics.
Yoke buttons don't work, default keystrokes don't work.

Re: DM Trident in FSX
Hi Ade Don't think you can turn the hydraulics on or off on the trident. Just make sure the default start up a/c in fsx has them switched on, if it has hydraulics that is

Re: DM Trident in FSX
There are three big Hydraulic system levers in the roof panel...Like everything in the Trident it is "Triplex"

Re: DM Trident in FSX
I thought they were down low by the F/E from my assorted jump seat rides on Tridents

Re: DM Trident in FSX
I reistalled the Tridents into FSX yesterday following the "Installing DM's aircraft into FSX" post.
It works perfectly for me.
I'm not sure where you might be going wrong.

Re: DM Trident in FSX
That looks like it was the problem, I had just flown the RJ100 before, and part of parking chacklist is to power off the hydraulics, which I did, so when I loaded up the Trident there was no hydraulic power.Vc Ten wrote:Hi Ade Don't think you can turn the hydraulics on or off on the trident. Restarted FSX this morning and I have flaps and gear

Re: DM Trident in FSX
Just as a matter of interest, after shutting down the 1-11 in Dubrovnik this morning, I swapped over to trident 3 where the hydraulics were functional even with the engines and apu off
