6. Carenza Lewis about finding food in the Middle Ages on 'Time Team Live' said:
'You'd eat beaver if you could get it.'

7. A female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked,

Another variation of the Arnold Palmer one occurred on the Johnny Carson Tonight Show many years ago. Arnie was supposed to be booked on the show but had to beg off because of a charity event he was obligated to to attend. He sent his wife to substitute.

Johnny asked Ms Palmer if her husband was superstitious, & if there was anything he did before a big match. Ms Palmer replied very casually saying "Oh yes i kiss his Balls" Johnny came back very quick" I BET THAT MAKES HIS PUTTER RISE"

I can remember seeing that and also rolling on the floor with laughter. The Palmers sued Carson (remember - this is America) and never appeared on the Tonight show again.
