XR808 is complete again

RAF Museum has put out an announcement that the rebuild of XR808 at Cosford is now complete and the aircraft is officially on public display. Looks like I'll have to plan a visit now

Lovely! A VC10 where a VC10 used to be, parked next to a Herc, where the (similar) Belfast used to be. Still room for a...Voyager in the future? - Where the (almost similar) 707 used to be.

You're right, it does seem similar. But the main difference is that the aircraft are now owned by the RAFM and they don't need to wait for BA to send out some apprentices to do the maintenance.

Was up Cosford on Tuesday feels weird seeing her at Waddington as an active aircraft to a museum piece.
