Poured in bearings? Did it rattle afterwards?

Yes, Mike. One pours Babbitt, and when bored properly... To spec... Well they still rattle.
It's why they's sometimes called a bearcat motor... Cause you can hear the bear,.... chasing the cat... all around the motor.
I'll get the video up in a while... But if you can't hold your wee.. Goggle it!
Here ya go

A few years ago, not so far from you but actually in NSW, I met a man driving a 1928 Model A ute , which had been his grandfather's and which had been in the family from new . It was very largely original apart from a new cover for the back, and was in remarkable condition

But where's the "big red lever", Dave?
Paul, that's looking good, too ,just a different colour.
