ACG closes its hangar doors..
Hi Chaps,
Just read over at SoH that ACG is closing its doors for good in Feb.
http://www.airfieldconstructiongroup.org/news/
They've produced some top quality airfields over the years and their closing will be a great loss to the sim community.
Thanks for everything you've done to date guys and all the very best for the future

It is indeed a shame. Their airfields and associated AI were among the best.
Thank you ACG, and all the best.

Sad to see one of my favorite places on the web go, thanks again ACG for giving us the best military UK airbases ever done. It was a pleasure working with these guys as a tester during the Wattisham project.

Indeed a sad loss.
I think that, like me, many here have at least their Duxford with air show.
Top class, thank you.

Hi,
thanks guys, your support was always appreciated,
Even though the website has gone and ACG as a group is no more, that doesnt mean there wont be anymore airfields from me, due to the length of time it takes to build any airfield the ACG site just generally sat there unused for a long time and it can take anywhere between 12 to 18 months or longer for me to complete an airfield which is a long time. As I said in the statement, there are other interests that have also took big chunks of spare time and keeping the website running with only a promise of something which could be two years away just doesnt justify its existence.
Im sure there will be airfields or AI aircraft released every now and again from former members it just wont be under the name ACG which isnt the end of the world....
Regards
Stevo

Stevo,
Sad to see the end of ACG as an entity, but very happy that you intend to continue with airfield building. ACG's Duxford is still my favourite flight sim UK airfield. Didn't you mention doing Bruntingthorpe at some point ? If so, is that still on ?
Anyway, all the best.

That's good to hear Stevo.
ACG Duxford has been my default airfield in FSX, and now P3d since release.

ACG is a sad loss indeed, but I'm very glad that you are still in the game Stevo. I look forward to more of your work.
