Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Since this is British aviation history forum website meaning it is filled with members who have excellent knowledge of history of British aviation, I am hoping any of you will help clear up or explain interesting history about Flybe flying 757s for one month. Can anybody shed light on this or remember this?

All I know from internet surfing is that Flybe did operate 757-200 for flights from Exeter and some British cities to destinations in Spain. It was normally used by Flybe operated and Flybe piloted 737-300/-400 owned by Hola airline but this 737 plane broke down and awaited for repairs so Hola airline sent 757 as temporary replacement to Flybe to continue service for a month or two.

Can anybody shed light on this please?

Thank you for any info or input any of you might offer.

Regards,

Aharon

Hi Aharon,

This took place back in April 2005 and other than that you seem to have found out the reason for it, that the Flybe 737 had broken down.

Roger.
