Yesterday was the wife's birthday. I bought her a bunch of expensive presents, took her for a couple of beers and then an excellent meal at her favourite restaurant, along with a bottle of expensive wine. Got a Silver Service limo to take us home, and then she came over all teenager lovey dovey. I said... "Sweetheart, you're 69, how about acting your age?", and she slapped me. What did I do?

You need advice after all those years spent with her....? I still can't fathom the 2nd one I've been with for 35.....We never learn.

OK so no-ones getting the joke. That's ok. What isn't, is violence against women and I won't soil this forum with my opinion of men who think it is.

I saw the joke, "what did I do (wrong)?" and my response was meant to be a play on words.
I could just as easily have said "Tickle her? - a bit of slap & tickle can go a long way!"

I certainly don't condone violence against women, nor yet against men.
