Amazing lady. That might be fun for a week or two just to immerse oneself in what the older generation had to go through. My mother went through the war as a nurse in Liverpool and used to tell tales of traversing streets with bombs falling when she had ambulance duty. My father, who worked for BOAC, was torpedoed and picked up by a Norwegian coal barge. I doubt and hope I will never .have those experiences.
