For those of you interested in weather phenomena, there is the most extraordinary sight on current 1830 rainfall radar. There is a thin line of torrential rain which stretches from c. Aberdeen in the North to Nantes in the South. I have never seen anything like it and would not care to encounter it whilst airborne ( I imagine it is right at the leading edge of the cold front )
