'Ello Peeps, just back from a great trip down under to Perth, WA in Oz, visiting relatives...
Had the interesting experience of flights between DBX and PER (& back) with Emirates in one of their big A380s. I was delighted to find that these big ladies of the sky have, like the Emirates 777s, cameras in the nose pointing down and forward. What was great though was that the A380s also have a camera stuck up on the tail pointing down to the front, so here's a couple of clips I filmed on my mobile on the screen on my seat for your entertainment :-)
Landing in Dubai on the 777-300er from Glasgow using the forward camera full screen.

Landing in Perth on the next leg of the trip in the A380 using the tailcam.
I left the screen with the data panel coz I thought it was interesting to see if you can read the stats as well.

Cheers folks

Glad you liked it Dave,
Found another clip from the return leg, landing in Dubai in the dark with the A380 on the way home...

Thanks for posting that Gordon. It's a much better view than the nose - forward and down - views I got last week on a Lufthansa 747-800. The forward view was particularly disappointing as due to the attitude of the aircraft it showed just grey sky, even during take off and landing, it might as well have been blank.

Thank you Gordon
I'm glad that your pilot could see the Perth runway! I was having trouble picking it out.
The stats were very clear to read. I noticed the temperature climb from 17 at about 600ft, to 21 just before touchdown.
I had no idea that this sort of display was available on board, but then, my last commercial flight was in the early 70s.

Cheers, Gordon.
Yes, that's one of the great features of flying with Emirates.
A while back, my Dad and I flew with them from Birmingham to Dubai. On watching the landing on the seatback screen, my Dad kept repeating 'he needs to get right a bit'. My reply being 'I'm sure he knows what he's doing '.
Hope you had a great trip.
