Second Moan of the Month!

Ok chaps, this is the second and last moan for this month unless......................................!!! :worried:

I am not going to identify the store Babs and I were in a few weeks ago but we were sat talking to one of the sales advisors in a room with a number of other desks and chairs. The first time I came aware of this woman who came in was when she said in a very, and I mean, very loud voice......Oh, are you hungry then....... :dunno:

I naturally looked up and she was sat across to my left (at my eleven o' clock position) got her boob out and started breast feeding in full view.....Now I know a lot of this does occur within shops eateries etc. but..........she was sat near a wall facing me and I feel that she should have turned round so that she was facing away from us so as not to cause embarrassment but no.........I just got up and said to Babs I am going out for some fresh air and promptly left.
When I came back in after about five minutes she had gone thankfully. I'm afraid that I just found that experience rather embarrassing, don't get me wrong, I am very broadminded and had to be due to the job I used to do ( I have actually lost count of the number of times when females used to flash their boobs at the camera) but when she came in she made sure that everyone heard what she said and I am sure that she did this to provoke some sort of reaction but thankfully failed.

All the staff in the office appeared to be embarrassed and shifted around so that they did not make eye contact with her and two of them also left the room. Babs told me afterwards that the baby was not hungry at all and the feed only lasted a less than a minute after I left.

Women should be allowed to breastfeed but a small room should be provided for privacy for if you happen to make eye contact with some one breast feeding you could very easily be mistaken by that person as a pervert!! :worried:

Sorry, second rant over with!

Regards
Nigel.

Sounds like she was just itching for someone to make that eye contact, so she could unleash some demeaning insult.
You did the right thing, Nige. :agree:
