Just to say that if anyone missed the Flying Scotsman prog from Nigel's earlier post, it' s repeated at 21.00 tonight on BBC4.
Happy new year to all.We are just off out to see the looney dook at North Berwick where mad people take a swim in the North sea/ Forth estuary. Perfect day for it, sunny with clear skies and very cold!
Didn't stay up last night but I did wake when the fireworks went off at Edinburgh castle 5 Miles away. Always spectacular to see even from this distance.
