Just Flight HS748

Well, I just could not stop my finger from pressing the Buy Now Button and bought the HS 748.
Took it for a very quick circuit at East Midlands Airport and overall I am very pleased with it, it hand flies extremely well although it took me sometime to find the trim indicator which is situated on the co-pilots' side instead of just to the right as in Ricks' 748.
Have to admit though I feel sorry at leaving Ricks' 748 to gather dust in the hanger as I have always found it to be a truly great model. Could it be a guilty conscience?
The only criticism I have are the main instruments, wish that the ASI Artificial Horizon etc were of the older variants (like Ricks' version). That said, along with the Fokker Friendship I am happy with them and enjoying hand flying at lower altitudes. Had thought about the BAC 1-11 but at the moment prefer flying props as apposed to jets however, that could change when the VC10 does finally appear.
Regards
Nigel.
