Brilliant find Peter, must have been made out of polystyrene or something similar as it was so light, not the sort of a/c you could fly outdoors on a windy day.

Just like to try flying that around my living room whilst my wife does all she can to avoid it!!

Regards
Nigel.

I think the fuselage was full of He Nigel. The airspeed looked far too slow for the wings to develop enough lift.

Seen a few of these helium assisted lift models ;) Nothing of this scale though Looks to be constructed from rigid plastic of some sort Don't think the pilot would have an easy time outdoors  http://airstage.de/?lang=en

That would explain it then, thanks Kevin.

Very Nice Peter, I agree it has to have helium in that large body to give it the lift as its way to slow for the wings to give enough lift.
