It's nearly midnight on 7th January, and there's not a single post since 6th.

Haven't found further updates, but that last report says the pilot was stable.

Going back to 30th December, another pilot landed on a Tasmanian beach after apparently running out of fuel. I'll seek a link.

But on tonight's news was another mass shooting at Florida airport. Hope Joe was well clear.

The incident happened at ft Lauderdale airport . I'm 45 miles north ... Just a half mile south of palm beach international.

I'm rather speechless about what happened. Senseless about sums it up. To say it was tragic for the victims and their survivors doesn't quite quantify it.
