Well, I finally got my new dream PC and have spent the last few days transferring the SSDs over and then getting things up and running. And, oh yes, fighting Windows 10. FWIW this is the new machine for Flight Sim and photography only:

P3D goes like the clappers with FRs in the region of 180+ over open country and 60+ low level over central London. So I'm dead chuffed - so far. The only fly in the ointment is that I cannot get FSX Gold Edition to load, I've tried some of the suggestions on the net but nothing works so I might have - when the flexible card returns to normal temperature - to get the Steam edition.
