Now I shall be super critical if its TSR2, 'cos way back in the dark ages I was in the Weybridge Drawing Office for 3 years working on the fwd fuselage & cockpit! Mind you that is so long ago I've forgotten most of it!
I think Rob will be up to it though.

Ha ha! I was wondering if anyone had noticed. Might even do some 'what if' schemes if this comes to fruition, although it is difficult to overcome the feeling of blasphemy!

There were some interesting "what ifs" done for the old Alphasim model.
Looking forward to this one. :)

Maybe..........Maybe not!
The landing gear alone is so ridiculously complicated no wonder they had problems with it!
then there is that ugly front bit, who the hell had a hand in designing that!

Yes the landing gear was complicated, but just look at this photo...

Pure beauty and evil all rolled into one. B-) This would be the aircraft Darth Vader would fly if he lived on Earth. :OB:

My nickname for it was that it looked like a praying mantis.
Not only was the undercart mechanically complex, but the installation of the hydraulic sequence valves on the underfloor frame 280, as well as all the services squeezed under the floor between the sideways looking radar antennae recesses!

P.S. The best book on her is the Damien Burke one - TSR2 Britain's Lost Bomber, has a lot more detail than Tim McLelland one.

Keith I was trying to wind you up with my "ugly front bit" comment.
I think she is just perfect in every way!
