Classic British Flight Sim

I fancy doing a trip across the Americas starting at the bottom and working my way up to New York or somewhere like that. Maybe an Argentine Comet from Buenos Aries to Santiago then a Panair Convair across to Montevideo and so on. Does anyone have any interesting routes/aircraft they could suggest?

I'm not sure if you're looking for authentic routing or just interesting routing but the ones listed in the link will be near as damn it, authentic. Just plonk your start ICAO into the box and it will show all routes from that location for ALL aircraft. Tidy it up by choosing a type from the list

Pan Am had some interesting routes in that area, you could probably substitute whatever AC you want to use for the type they used at the time. Here is a link to a PDF copy of a 1950 PAA timetable.

Try challenging yourself by flying in hops halfway round the world..... like from Australia to Europe. Take it in easy steps about 500 mls each leg .... this will keep you busy for about 4/5 weeks & you will learn a lot of geography. I'm currently flying from Hobart Tasmania to Birmingham UK in a BAC1-11..... heaps of fun
