Sully Sullenberger got the opportunity when asked to promote the Thunderbirds in Sacramento, CA.
I thought this is a well deserved honor for him.

Capt Sullenberger USAF (retired) had a bang seat in the F-4 Phantoms he flew as well.
Just got through reading his book. As Spock would say, ' fascinating'.
