If drink can drive you to sound like that, or even like that as music then I'm all for abstinence.
Oh I can sound worse than that when I drink...just ask the cat. She's been known to place a paw over my mouth when I burst into alcohol inspired song. Yep.

Truth be told, I sound a lot worse without having touched a drop and I doubt I sound any better after 'a few'.
