Lightning T5 now available from Aerosoft!

Post by spatialpro »

The T5 English Electric Lightning is now available to purchase from Aerosoft:

This is a must-have for me!!! The dynamic reflections are sure to be awesome in P3D... and with v4 out tomorrow the sky will be the limit as far as performance goes! Let the good times roll!!!

On top of all this she is also TacPack-ed, including the original rocket pods! :bandit:

Looks good, and I'll sure to be getting it, but not unless it's v4 ready. The blurb only mentions up to v3. :dunno:
Also, no Tacpack for v4 for several months at least. :|

While browsing around the Aerosoft site I saw this.

the price seemed too good to be true (at least compared to other location selling the same thing).

That's only the "Advanced" upgrade, you still need the basic Phantom package.
The Advanced Series F-4E module is not a stand-alone add-on. It extends the functionality of the MilViz F-4E Phantom II. and as such, that aircraft is required for this release to function. It is also compatible with the existing TacPack add-on for the F-4E, but does not require it. The Advanced Series F-4E module does not function nor is it compatible with the MilViz F-4J/S.

I am glad you pointed that out, I was slightly tempted but since it's just an upgrade I can let it go. Its interesting that they have the F-4E advanced upgrade but not the base F-4E itself.

There would appear to be a discount for those who purchased the F3 and/or F6 but I'm not sure if this will be passed to other vendors. I bought the F6 from FSPS and the F3 from JF. Happy to wait until it appears at JF before I make a decision ;)

Thanks Andy

EDIT: There is no sign of a discount for previous F3/F6 customers.
